Toronto, Canada – May 3, 2021 – Today, FreshBooks launched the fourth season of its I Make A Living podcast for people who work for themselves. Airing on Mondays, the sixteen-episode season will feature insightful and candid conversations with freelancers, small business owners and entrepreneurs about what ‘making a living’ means to them. New this season is the addition of ‘Nerdisodes’, mini-episodes that focus on the more technical, how-to aspects of running your own business. Nerdisodes will air on Thursdays.
Host Damona Hoffman, certified dating coach, radio and TV personality, and small business owner, will return this season to engage a fascinating lineup of self-employed guests, including luxury fashion designer Rebecca Minkoff, founder of salon chain Drybar Alli Webb, and mixed media artist and poet Morgan Harper Nichols, to name a few.
“Even in the midst of a pandemic, the spirit of entrepreneurship is alive and well. In the U.S. alone, we’re seeing new businesses popping up at the fastest rate since 2007” said host Damona Hoffman. “The mission of I Make A Living is to connect and inspire new and seasoned entrepreneurs through honest storytelling and pragmatic advice.”
Recognized as one of Apple’s Top 10 Podcast for Entrepreneurs in the U.S. and Canada, the I Make a Living podcast is no stranger to A-list entrepreneurs. Past seasons have featured CBC’s Terry O’Reilly, HGTV’s Bryan Beaumler, and Google’s Head of Startups Jewel Burks Soloman.
I Make A Living will air on Mondays, kicking off with Episode 1 on May 3rd: “Treat Your Business Like a Video Game,” will feature a conversation with Bryan Clayton, an entrepreneur who has scaled two $20M+ businesses in the landscaping industry.
